As been reported by multiple outlets, #Rams practice squad center Aaron Neary was arrested Sunday night on suspicion of driving under influence after slamming car into various objects in Simi Valley. Neary blew a .17 percent, more than double the legal limit of .08 percent.—
Football Perspective@fbgchase
Yesterday, the NFL had an average passer rating of 105.1.Aaron Rodgers’ career passer rating is 103.9.
That should be the lead story on every analysis of the NFL right now.
There were 28 QBs playing:
16 QBs had a passer rating over 100.
21 QBs had passer ratings over 95.==

The #Patriots have agreed to trade for #Browns WR Josh Gordon, I’m told. Done deal. IT’s for a conditional 5th round pick.120 replies 1,392 retweets 2,925 likes

Browns also spoke with Cowboys, Redskins, 49ers and others about a potential trade for Josh Gordon, and wanted to send him to NFC. But Patriots stepped in and closed.Ross Tucker@RossTuckerNFL
Josh Gordon is strange fit in New England.Belichick can tolerate “attitude” guys like Corey Dillon & Randy Moss but I can’t imagine him having much patience for a guy with chronic accountability issues.

Can we please stop with the Randy Moss and Josh Gordon comparisons. One is in the Hall of Fame and the other has one, yes one, good season in the NFL. To my knowledge, Moss was also never close to being suspended for life because of failed drug tests.September 17, 2018 at 4:32 pm #90947

Something hilarious and morally uplifting.
Did the images I posted in the Ficken thread show up? Because they’re gone now that you combined our threads.

No. They didn’t which is why I replaced yours.
Do you post tweets much? I wonder if it’s this. I am going to review the basics and if you know this already, sorry. But with a tweet you click on the date. That makes the tweet go full screen. At that point you can just copy the URL. When you post the URL here, you just put it in the post box without modifying it. It’s like posting youtubes. The board software does the rest, you just click “post.”
Your 2 previous posts (the images) are hilarious, thanks.

ZooeyModeratorNo, I don’t post tweets. I uploaded those images to an old google site that predates current google pages. My old pages are still there, and I thought I would upload them there, copy the image address, and voila. Apparently that doesn’t work, though I don’t understand why. Whatever. I just use a subpage on my current site to hold images. I just thought using an old site nobody ever visits would be safer than a subpage on my active site that someone could stumble upon and wonder what I’m up to.

Here. Save the images to your computer, and then upload them here: https://imgur.com/upload
You hit browse and upload the image. When the image is finished it allows you to choose a copy option. You put the cursor on the pic and you get a pulldown menu, and you choose GetShareLink:

and you just take this one:

All you have to do then is press “copy” and then in the post box hit “paste.” YOu don’t use the Image prompt on this board because it’s already formatted, you just paste it and post.

What’s interesting about the #Rams Austin Blythe/Jamon Brown situation – and Blythe has played his ass off the last two weeks – Blythe is under contract for 2019 while Brown is a free agent.
Keyshawn said Goff is a serviceable at best, depend on coach 100% QB
Well that’a an upgrade over what Keyshawn called him previously because he and a lot of others were pretty much calling him a bust after seven games. SEVEN!!! I like Keyshawn, but he’s been wrong about Jared from the jump. It’s OK. No one bats a thousand.
The thing about the #Rams is, what’s the exploitable flaw?

Total respect to the Seahawks for zigging when everyone else is zagging by building their offense around the punting game.—

Opposing QBs have completed 57% of their passes to WRs against the #LARams (0 TD / 2 INT). Just 4.7 yards/target. Only 2 passes completed to WRs beyond 10 yards.==

With Thomas and returner/backup receiver Pharoh Cooper both on IR, the Rams only have four receivers (Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp and Josh Reynolds) on their active roster.Hollywood Rams: Jared Goff just had a quick cameo in the HBO Series “Ballers.” Goff’s role? Talking Harry Potter.

Malcom Brown highlighted on NFL Primetime
They did the Verizon Film Room segment on the most dominant team in the NFL (Rams, in case you didn’t know) and Hasselbeck, who used to mock us, is now singing our praises…he pointed out a play where Brown had a “have a seat” block on a blitzing LB’er that allowed Goff to throw a dart to Kupp on 3rd and long to go up 27-0
It was awesome
here Is a quick shot of it…..

ESPNIt’s going to be a long season if the Seahawks’ offense keeps operating the way it did in Seattle’s 24-17 loss to the Bears on Monday night. Russell Wilson was off, throwing a pick six as part of his down night; pass-protection was again sub-par; and the play-calling left a lot to be desired, especially when it came to abandoning the run and not finding ways to ease the pressure on Wilson. And no, Doug Baldwin’s absence doesn’t explain all or even most of that. The Seahawks, now 0-2, need to find some answers before they host Dallas at home next week
