    Los Angeles Rams@RamsNFL
#LARams Tender Exclusive Rights Free Agents Malcolm Brown + Troy Hill

    Joe Curley‏@vcsjoecurley
Hill is set to make $570,000 in 2018 and Brown $475,000 per

    Vincent Bonsignore@DailyNewsVinny
As of now, sense is #Rams primary focus is on their own free agents. Obviously Sammy Watkins is front and center in that objective

    Ian Rapoport@RapSheet
In 1 minute, free agents can talk to other suitors, and that includes #Rams WR Sammy Watkins. They wanted to sign him before the window opens, but that was never realistic. He’ll have a hot market.

Jaguars reportedly have shown interest in Sammy Watkins

    Alden Gonzalez@Alden_Gonzalez
Some more info on the Rams’ restricted free agents .

Exclusive rights free agents usually get one-year contracts at minimum salary and can either sign the tender or sit out the season. So, they’ll sign. Troy Hill is the No. 5 CB on the depth chart right now, but two guys ahead of him, Kayvon Webster and Sam Shields, face serious questions. Malcolm Brown is Todd Gurley’s backup, unless the Rams sign a Lance Dunbar-type change-of-pace running back. Other ERFAs on the Rams: OLB Garrett Sickels, T Aaron Neary, K Sam Ficken, FB Zach Laskey. Restricted free agents, who must be tendered contracts by 4 pm ET: OLB Matt Longacre, LB Cameron Lynch, T Darrell Williams. Rams must keep Longacre; may keep Williams.

Technology, younger GMs have led to more active NFL trade market before free agency starts

    Gary Klein@LATimesklein
If the Rams’ defense is as relentless in the upcoming season as the team’s front office has been in reassembling it, the future could be bright.

Bengals acquire left tackle Cordy Glenn from Bills

    Jason La Canfora@JasonLaCanfora
The full Bills/Bengals trade, via a league source. Bills trade Glenn, and picks 21 and 158 for picks 12 and 187. Love it for Buffalo

Bills were plenty content with how the OL performed when Glenn was hurt last year. Now at pick 12 they’re in shouting distance of top 5

    Ian Rapoport@RapSheet
Based on what the #Bills received in the Cordy Glenn trade, I’d be surprised if they don’t end up in the Top 10.. or Top 5 by Draft Night. They are on the move for a QB and everyone will be calling.

@TomPelissero says the #Vikings have reached out to Tom Condon on Drew Brees. I can add, so have the other QB-needy teams. #intrigue

Teams are now shopping players they may have to cut when the league year begins. Among them: #Rams Tavon Austin, #Eagles Vinny Curry, #Dolphins Ja’Wuan James. … That time of year.

FYI on #Rams FA WR Sammy Watkins: Hearing his market is “Competitive”

I do not think that he’s as good as gone

    Mingo@matthewmingo
Is Reynolds and Cooper contingency plan if we can’t resign Watkins?

    Vincent Bonsignore@DailyNewsVinny
    And Mike Thomas + Draft.

As new league year approaches, might be worth recalling how #LARams *backup* corners finished 2017, using @PFF’s weekly position grades…

-Week 15 at SEA: Troy Hill, 3rd
-Week 17 vs SF: Kevin Peterson, 1st
-Wild Card vs ATL: Troy Hill, 1st
