1. Tons of Wisconsinites now living in SoCal. Tons of #Packers fans made the trip to L.A., which will be one of the big-time road trips destinations for #NFL fans every single year. (L.A. is really popular) Tons of L.A. fans grew up as fans of other teams from ’95-2016.2. #Rams vacated L.A. for 21 years. It will take time for them to get into L.A.’s bloodstream as one of the markets marquee sports franchises again. You’ll always see lots fans of other teams at L.A. games simply because L.A. is a destinaton for relocating and vacationing.
3. I think as the years move on, you’ll see less (if any) takeovers though. The #Packers doing it was no surprise. That’s a special franchise. All that said, the atmospheres at #Vikings and #Packers games were as good as any #NFL experience as I can remember.
#Rams talk about importance of being situational masters. Example: Todd Gurley going to ground rather than scoring a TD to allow Goff to run clock out. Contrast: Ty Montgomery not taking a touchback – and giving Aaron Rodgers a shot – by taking KO out of end zone & fumbling. There is a reason the #Rams are 8-0, and it isn’t only about talent.

Been seeing a lot of moaning on here about the makeup of the Coliseum yesterday. Anyone surprised hasn’t spent much time in SoCal recently. Eight wins doesn’t wipe out 20 years of history. But Rams are doing what they need to do to win back marketBeyond the transplants, and there are a lot (I knew of several Wisconsinites who now live in LA who were there yesterday), are the Angelenos. Those weren’t just traveling fans and transplants. Those were Angelenos taking advantage of their one chance to see their team.

What Gurley did Sunday to clinch the Rams’ 29-27 win over the Packers made him the ultimate in “unselfish players, situational masters.” “We go over this stuff every week. We know what to do in what situations,” Todd Gurley said.J.B. Long@JB_Long
Per ESPN Stats & Info, Aaron Donald’s 10 sacks are the most through 8 games by a defensive tackle since La’Roi Glover (12) and Warren Sapp (10) in 2000.Joe Curley@vcsjoecurley
The last time the @RamsNFL started the season at 8-0, the great #18 Roman Gabriel was larger than life, leading the Rams during his 1969 MVP season!J.B. Long@JB_Long
“I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”

There’s a “very good chance” Cooper Kupp plays against New Orleans, Not Ever Browns Coach Sean McVay said.Rams now have 4 victories this season by 7 points or fewer. That’s the most in the NFL. There are 16 teams that don’t have 4 wins, period. So, is this a sign that this Rams team is dialed in, or that it’s playing with fire? Or both?
Just got my first good look at that Mark Barron tackle for the safety. What a stick. Turned the momentum.

Nicely done by the Packers to run 52 offensive plays yesterday against Aaron Donald and the #LARams front without a single holding call and only two penalties total.Since sacks became an official stat in 1982, @RamsNFL players with 10 of them through 8 games:
Aaron Donald (10) – 2018
Robert Quinn (10) – 2013
Kevin Greene (10) – 1988

#LARams HC Sean McVay said he’s had discussions with GM Les Snead about potential trades leading up to the deadline. Says edge rusher would be the main position LA is looking at.McVay says #LARams came through yesterday clean with regards to injuries.
DFarr had 11.5 sacks back in 1995 — that’s the Rams franchise record for a DT. Donald is at 10.0 through 8 games, has a career record of 11.0 sacks in a season.
I jokingly asked DFarr on the pregame show yesterday if his franchise DT sack record was going to fall against the Packers. Barring injury, pretty clear that thing could be done before the bye week.

Aaron Donald leads the NFL with 10 sacks through 8 weeks. He should never have to attend training camp again.Sean McVay rambled about the game, then paused: “It was a high caliber back-and-forth game, there was –— Packers fans. There was a lot of Packers fans here today. We got to – there were a lot of cheers when the Packers scored. I was a little surprised about that.”

In your opinion who is the next Sean McVay on a current NFL staff that would be a viable option for the Browns?Michael Silver@MikeSilver

Sean McVay saw those reports linking Zac Taylor and Shane Waldron to the Browns job: “I’m sitting there watching when they made the change, and the first 2 guys’ names they mentioned, I’m like, ‘Sheesh, I love these guys. I don’t want to lose them.'”STEDMAN BAILEY SR@iamSB3
First off – s/o to the @RamsNFL on being the sole undefeated team remaining. I always knew we were creating something truly special in LA.October 29, 2018 at 10:05 pm #93050

Sean McVay says the Rams are "kind of in dialogue" about trying to get an edge rusher before the trade deadline.
