Injured Giants defensive end Olivier Vernon remained kneeling for the national anthem on Sunday, while Rams linebacker Robert Quinn raised a fist.

Vernon, the son of a retired police officer, knelt as the Giants and NFL honored members of the military in a Salute to Service.
