    BUT that’s deceptive, because they improved during the season.

    How do they rank since the KC game? IE the last 7 games.

    The way I do this should be pretty obvious–I take the defensive averages from the last 7 games, and extrapolate those numbers as if the Rams had played 10 games with those stats, and determine the ranking accordingly. I then compare THOSE rankings to the actual rankings for the season, based on all 13 games (not counting today’s numbers).

    Opponent offensive touchdowns per game
    13 GAME RANK: 14th
    7 GAME RANK: 0.83, 1st

    Opponent passing yards per game
    13 GAME RANK: 10th
    7 GAME RANK: 263.4, 27th

    7 GAME RANK: 5.1, 6th
    Opponent yards per rush

    7 GAME RANK: 2.8, 1st
