    The more tape I see of the guy, the more optimistic I become.

    Of the 100 or so throws we see in the video, there were virtually dozens of passes were you shake your head in amazement. Throws most NFL starting QB’s can only dream of making. The 3 things that really stands out watching his game tape is his amazing pocket presence first of all. He seems to instinctively slide and move to open spaces in the pocket while always looking down field. Very Aaron Rodgers like.

    The 2nd thing you’ll notice instantly is how well he throws the mid range ball and how quick his release is. This is the strength of his game and the main reason he was drafted #1. His accuracy between 15 and 30 is unbelievable and some of these mid range throws really shows off his arm. He can really spin it with great accuracy when he needs to. Some of the throws we see on this tape are mind blowing

    The 3rd is how accurate he is under pressure. Cal’s line was pretty horrible throughout his career and was throwing under pressure on virtually every pass attempt. The guy is tough and never finches with people flying all around him.

    Anyway, enjoy……some of these throws make you ask yourself “how the hell did he do that”??
