    MIAMI IS

    22nd on offense (yards), 19th in points
    32nd in passing attempts, 28th in passing yards

    strength is the run game–18th in attempts, 6th in yards, and 4th in yards per attempt (4.8)
    Jay Ajayi (2nd year 5th rounder) is averaging 5.7 a carry

    20th on defense (yards), 14th in points allowed
    9th against the pass
    30th against the run
    13th in sacks (a strength), 13th in sack percentage

    But those season avg. numbers are deceptive

    Last 3 games on defense (because they have stepped up) Miami is

    9th on total defense (yards)
    4th in sack percentage
    11th against the run (yards)

    RAMS DEFENSE, LAST 3 GAMES

    points per game allowed: 1st
    yards per game: 2nd
    passing yards per game: 1st
    yards per pass attempt: 1st
    sack percentage: 17th
    opponent 3rd down conversion percentage: 5th
    rushing yards per game: 4th
    yards per rush attempt: 4th
