    Heard earlier this offseason that team might place transition tag on CB Trumaine Johnson if unable to get long-term deal.

    I think the Rams feel like they have a real good chance of re-signing Barron to play OLB and Hayes to start at LDE (Long’s old spot).

    One reason #Rams made moves today? They have voluntary informational meeting for player about/in LA set for early March.

    They didn’t want players who weren’t going to be on the roster to travel to a meeting and look for places in LA area.

    Will have more from conversation with Laurinaitis later. As you’d expect, he’s a little surprised but not bitter. A pro’s pro to the end.

    Well, Hayes aint gonna last 16 games if
    he has to play a lot. So, maybe they
    are gonna draft or sign a DE ?

    Yeah, either that or they like Longacre and/or Westbrooks a lot.

    Or…both: they will both acquire a guy and they like their developmental guys.
