I am never forgiving wv for quoting Oprah on a football board.

Oprah could hold a 21 point lead.

I want an apology from the defense and the refs…and I want a Jerry Springer quote.

all joking aside. the two seem to have some chemistry going on the field.

    davis is obviously playing well.

cook is on track for 80 receptions and 944 yards. more importantly it’s the consistency with which he’s getting his yards. long may it continue.

He can apologize to a lot of people at once using social media but it doesn’t mean much IMO unless he apologizes in person. And maybe a hug.

I don’t forgive him. Idiot. The twitter apology was lame PR move. And the terminology didn’t resemble an apology to Davis.

HE should buy Davis a car or something.

After that apology, I would be a meanie to cut “Cookie”. So, I will settle for making him inactive for a game. 😉

    Back after a short hiatus…

Davis and Cook worked it out during the game on the sidelines.

Davis is a leader. He went to Cook, sat him down and worked it out. The offense needs both of them.

I’m pretty sure we’re going to see Shaun Hill against Philly because… Fisher. But Davis did just about everything that could be asked of him including be a leader of veterans.

I especially liked Davis’ poise of not overreacting to Cook.

Sports is the crucible of human virtue. The distillate remains are human vice.

Also back after a crazy weekend that caused my own hiatus.

I forgive Cook for the stupid display on the sideline … although it reinforces my feeling that he’s an airhead and immature.

I also forgive him for dropping a sure TD … I got my frustration out during an intermittent hour-long rant Sunday.

J Cook looks to have made a sincere apology. So, maybe the result will be that he’ll learn to catch easy touchdown passes.
