    Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy got into an altercation with teammate Davon Coleman at practice after Coleman called him a “woman beater,” according to Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports. Coleman’s comment came in reply to Hardy reportedly questioning his effort in practice, according to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports. That’s what set off the altercation.

    Hardy may have more to worry about than just the one teammate. There is “some concern” that Hardy has “put himself at odds” with other members of the Dallas defensive line, according to Getlin. There have been no reports that anybody else was involved in the altercation, save for the teammates that had to separate Hardy and Coleman.

    Earlier in the week, Hardy learned of his 10-game suspension without pay for his domestic violence case. Though the league has suspended Hardy, he is appealing it. If the punishment is upheld, Hardy will not return until the Cowboys’ Week 12 matchup with the Carolina Panthers, the defensive end’s former team.

    Hardy last played a full season in 2013. He was placed on the commissioner’s exempt list for the final 15 games of last season. For his career, Hardy has 204 tackles, 34 sacks, seven forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
