“If we have learned anything in recent seasons, it’s that rookies can come in and make an instant impact both in the stat sheets and in fantasy football. Owners who fielded Odell Beckham Jr., Jeremy Hill or Mike Evans (to name a few) last season can attest to that. So, who are the first-year players with the most potential for 2015? Here’s a look at 20 rookies you should target.”
2. Todd Gurley, RB, St. Louis Rams
This was not a best-case scenario for Gurley’s fantasy value. While he’s more talented than incumbent starter Tre Mason, Gurley is no lock to come in and become a featured runner in 2015. Furthermore, he might be PUP’ed for the first six weeks to give him more time to recover from a reconstructive knee procedure. Gurley’s fantasy stock remains high in the long term, however. As for Mason’s, well, not so much.
