HerzogParticipantWell, yes, and no. Its a razor’s edge between going 4-12 and 9-7. That is indeed a razor’s edge.
But its not a razor’s edge between 4-12 and where the Patriots are.
So, yeah, they could have been a wildcard team. But you can say that about almost every team in the NFL. They can almost all get to that “just over .500 plataeu”
But of course we want more than that.
We want to conquer all seven kingdoms.

vAmen brother…..Amen
HerzogParticipantWhat have you done for me lately? 17 months after a superbowl appearance. Damn.
HerzogParticipantJay Gruden passed on Wade Phillips? What a dumbass

HerzogParticipantI’m so stressed
HerzogParticipantI am not annoyed by the board. I AM annoyed that football is off season. But that’s just the way it is.
July 7, 2017 at 1:23 am in reply to: Bruce Arians wrote a book about coaching NFL quarterbacks #70777
HerzogParticipantSo smart
HerzogParticipantI think that your tireless dedication to this board has made it what it is today. It is a very comfortable place that allows me to take my mind off of the shitstorm that is life.

HerzogParticipantDamn your memory is much better than mine!
July 2, 2017 at 3:03 am in reply to: Warner chooses his wife to be the presenter for his Hall of Fame induction #70650
HerzogParticipantYeah all those Arizona years should have been Ram years.
HerzogParticipantHow do you go from being the best at hitting holes, to one of the worst? I just don’t get it.
HerzogParticipantWhat a lack of foresight to keep Trumaine and pay that much and letting Janoris walk. It aggravates me
HerzogParticipantSo he could have been a patriot. Imagine if they had Warner and Brady. Crazy
HerzogParticipantSeriously? NOooooooooo
June 11, 2017 at 1:03 am in reply to: Informal poll…take some guesses on the knowns & unknowns #69899
HerzogParticipantI think they will lose the first two.
Play .500 ball over the next 6 games.
Than play winning football the last half of the season. This won’t be enough for a playoff spot, but they will be considered an ascending team by the end of the year.
Next season they will be a winning football team.
HerzogParticipantSo his snap count decreased because…. everybody else was better. I’m not exactly brimming with confidence.
HerzogParticipantI didn’t realize how good he was
HerzogParticipantI’m cautiously…. low key….. really excited.
HerzogParticipantOk…. I guess I can see that.
HerzogParticipantHard to believe that a guy with these attributes couldn’t get more than 700 yards receiving in his career. Does he a have a weakness that we are not seeing?

HerzogParticipant4.41 40 at 5’8 means every corner is taller than you and faster than you. I,m going to keep my expectations low on this one

HerzogParticipantYES
May 11, 2017 at 3:08 pm in reply to: Before ankle injury, Justin Davis was the most elusive back in NCAA #68643
HerzogParticipantHmm, and that happened two years ago right? So maybe he will have recovered by now and end up being ……good…..who knows
HerzogParticipantI give it an A also. They had a clear vision, and they got what they were looking for. I even think that fullback is going to be useful. I feel like Mcvay is building a Racecar. He knows what parts he needs and he is getting them. They don’t have to independently be the best parts in the world… they just have to fit together to make his car exemplary. Same thing with Wade.
I am really excited for the future of this team.
