I’m looking at either free agency or draft, pieces we need to get us over the hump.

    1. QB – Need better QB play. We can’t be guaranteed that Bradford can stay healthy, and there has to be a much better option than Hill and Davis.

    2. OG – We were getting killed inside, and I’m Ok with Saffold, but we need another Guard to complement him.

    3. FS – Not sure what we have. Rodney McLeod is a UFA, and I’m not sure on Christine Bryant, but it would be nice to get a ballhawking Safety. Have not had since OJ Atogwe.

    4. OLB – Not a great last two years for Jo-Lonn Dunbar. If we can improve the opposite side of Olgetree our front 7 could be incredible.

    5. C – I have Center down here, is that I don’t know what we have in Tim Barnes, or Barrett Jones. Fisher is known to be stubborn, and wants to believe Wells play will come back or something like that.

If Scott Wells comes back as our starter, the season is OVER.

Book it. Write it down. I don’t care how much guys want to believe in him… he’s not going to be any “comeback player of the year” type… he’s not going to get any stronger. So that just means that he’s going to continue to get run over…time and time and time again. And if he doesn’t have two super stout guards next to him, then they can’t make up for him being the weak link. Davin Joseph had a string of relatively decent games, but when he was bad AND Wells was his typical turrible… the Rams were just never gonna win and the opposing D got penetration and it was just awful frustrating as a fan to watch because you just KNEW that it wouldn’t have mattered who the QB was…

Sports is the crucible of human virtue. The distillate remains are human vice.

Well it’s probably time to move on from Wells and they can draft or sign an upgrade.

But to be fair, he’s listed with elbow and back injuries.

With those kinds of injuries, it might not be strength at all–it could just be hindered technique.

Now don’t maul me over that or nothin. s Just a thought.

I’ll be over here playing with the adorable puppies. And kittens. You know innocent little harmless animals.
