    We’ve see big time starters like Le’Veon Bell & David Johnson miss significant time for injuries the last few years. Teams are smart to not build around a RB, regardless of his talent. We know passing is more efficient, but we also need to consider positional injury rates.

    McVay said LB Ogbo Okoronkwo’s foot injury “probably isn’t progressing as quick as we’d like.” Rams had hoped to have him practice this past week but it didn’t happen.

    “There’s a good possibility” that Rams could sign LB Junior Galette after his workout tomorrow, McVay said.

    Sean McVay said the Rams suffered no new injuries against the Raiders. He said they’ve yet to decide whether to play starters against the Texans.

    McVay on playing starters next Saturday: “We’re going to lean toward playing those guys but nothing is finalized.”

    On paper, the signing of Junior Galette makes a ton of sense. The Rams are very thin at OLB. Seems like a good fit in Wade’s 3-4, played under LBs coach Joe Barry.

    Galette has also been in trouble off the field, on multiple occasions. Disorderly conduct arrest in 2017. Domestic violence arrest in 2015. A video in 2013 which showed him attacking a woman.

    Noteboom played three positions in the Rams second preseason game. They love his versatility. Even if he doesn’t fill Brown’s role in Week 1, he’ll play somewhere, sometime in 2018
