When you say he wasn’t sharp is that because the defense was really good or Goff was just off?

Both. But before anyone freaks out, days like this happen.

Went to Rams and Chargers camps today. They’re both supremely talented on offense and defense. The biggest discrepancy is their kicking situation. Greg Zuerlein, coming off back surgery, nailed a 60-yard field goal with ease and looks totally healthy now. He might be the best kicker in the league again. For the Chargers, neither Caleb Sturgis nor Roberto Aguayo have separated themselves. Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said opening with two kickers on the active roster is “a possibility.”

Just spoke/w #Raiders owner Mark Davis. Obviously looking forward to bringing Raiders back to Coliseum. Asked him how proud he is that #Raiders are only L.A. team to win Super Bowl: “Means a lot. But the #Rams are very a good team. I can see them making a run on our (SB) legacy”

Last day of Rams training camp in Irvine. Some guys are trickling onto the field sans pads. Andrew Whitworth, not practicing today, has been doing sprints for 15 minutes and I’m exhausted just watching him.

Rams 7v7 red zone: Jared Goff finds Tyler Higbee for back to back TDs. Higbee has had a solid camp. Could emerge as a nice target in red zone situations this season.

The @NFL backup QB trade market at the end of August will be very, very interesting.

If this helmet rule is going to be this fundamental a change, they should abolish fining players for those penalties.

So many of these there is zero intent. Don’t take the guy’s money while you experiment with the rulebook
