    NFL Week 14 picks: Who the experts are taking in Rams-Seahawks

    According to NFL Pick Watch ( https://nflpickwatch.com/ ), which tracks expert predictions from across the country, the majority of pundits are taking the Seahawks to win outright on Sunday night. Only 38% of experts are picking the Rams to defend their home turf with the other 62% going with Seattle.

    Taylor Rapp didn’t play against SEA first time around (ankle). He’s coming off that pick-6.

    And don’t look now, but Greg Gaines has a PFF grade of 80.8, which would rank 14th among interior defenders if he qualified. Gaines + SeaBass = nice.

    The magic number for Rams: Todd Gurley at 20 touches.

    LA’s won 19 of last 20 times Gurley gets 20. They are 27-8 in his career, 3-0 vs #Seahawks, when he gets 20.

    But Gurley’s had 20 touches just twice in LA’s last 17 games. Both are in wins the last 3 weeks. @thenewstribune

    Even with the Tampa and Ravens games, Ram defense is ranked 13th in points, 12th in yards, 9th against the pass, 13th against the run, 4th in yards per rushing attempt, 4th in yards per play allowed, 9th in opponent completion percentage, 9th in sack percentage, 3rd in pressures & 3rd in pressure percentage, and 8th in tackles for a loss.

    49ers can clinch a playoff spot tonight if the Seahawks win. BUT, they will also drop to a wild-card spot if Seattle wins.

    So, they’re rooting for the Rams, not that it matters

    Vikings win trimmed the #LARams playoff odds from 29% to 23%.

    Layer in all the other early results and they’re steady at 23%.

    (But would spike to 36% with a win tonight vs SEA.)

    Not that anyone would question the Seahawks motivation tonight, but they’ll either be the 1-seed or the 5-seed depending on tonight’s outcome on @SNFonNBC vs Rams. So yeah, they’ll be locked in.
