he doesn’t think gurley is quite done yet and a lot of the problems were due to oline problems and defenses adjusting to mcvay’s offense.

I am a bigger critic of that vid than you are.

He does not account for and does not even seem to know about the fact that physically TG is not the same back.

Most of us know that he has an issue with an arthritic knee.

This guy does not even seem to realize that.

There were not as many holes last year, but Gurley didn’t pop through the ones that were there. It’s too bad. He had HOF talent on blasted knees.

perhaps. he acknowledges at the end that gurley is not the same back he was the previous two seasons. i took it as him saying we don’t know what kind of gurley we’ll see in 2020. if he is running behind the kind of lines he was running behind in 2017 and 2018, falcons fans could be pleasantly surprised. and i am inclined to agree with him.

doesn’t mean we’ll see a 2017 or 2018 gurley. which he acknowledges. but a version significantly better than 2019 gurley.

i think he’s got a couple more seasons of solid production left in him.

by productive i mean 1200 yards from scrimmage. in the right situation. but probably not the dominant runner he was in 2017 and 2018.
