Super Bowl LVI will be in Los Angeles in 2022, two years after new stadium – home for the #Rams and #Chargers – opens in Inglewood

Trevor Sikkema on Kamara: “Balance and a hunger for yards after contact will always play in the NFL.”

    Immediately thought of John Kelly

A few observations from #Rams OTA’s: Rookie 7th round draft pick Justin Lawler got a lot of run at 1st team SAM and Sean McVay had some (unprompted) nice things to say about him. Ramik Wilson looked good at WILL in place of Mark Barron

Rookie Trevon Young looks every bit 6-4, 258 He’s a physical specimen.

Jared Goff was laser sharp, and dropped a perfectly thrown touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp in the corner of the end zone.

Josh Reynolds has a really nice day in place of Brandin Cooks. He’ll be a Red Zone asset

It’s interesting watching #Rams DB coach Aubrey Pleasant, who is working with a head strong group when you think about dominant personalities like Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib. But Pleasant runs that show and isn’t shy about it one bit. He’s been very vocal in OTA’s.

Both Kiser and Scales got some run with the second and third teams. There isn’t a depth chart, but if there was (and Barron was healthy) ILB it looks like: 1st: Littleton/ Barron 2nd Hager/Wilson.

One thing from today…the defense seemed to have a better day today than when I last saw the Rams. In particular, secondary and linebackers did well in goalline drill. Players were really pumped up.

McVay said Brandin Cooks had a minor groin issue today. Aqib Talib didn’t have an injury issue.

Ndamukong Suh called the league’s new anthem policy “unfortunate” and said players “should be able to act as they please.”

Cory Littleton joked he’s not the vocal person but that he’s been trying to adjust to playing MLB and being a signal-caller.

Greg Zuerlein said he has been following the Rams’ recovery plan for him and that he sees no reason why he won’t be ready to go for training camp.

Andrew Whitworth, on approaching his 13th NFL season: “John Sullivan had to make me feel bad the other day and tell me that I’ve spent over a year of my life in NFL training camp. I felt old quick.”

It was interesting to hear Andrew Whitworth talk at length about how impressed he was about the team’s commitment to offseason work. And yes, that’s sort of an OTAs clichĂ© but Whitworth has been around for 13 years and he seemed genuinely pleased

Here is your Aaron Donald update from Sean McVay:
    There is no update.

Sean McVay said that the Rams will have “clear, open and honest communication” about their own anthem policy. Said they want to do something “similar” as a team.

    Myles Simmons@MylesASimmons
On DL Morgan Fox, McVay says it’s an unfortunate non-contact injury. Adds, “Certainly, that’s a big loss for us” based on the plans the team had for him at OLB.

Rams DL Ndamukong Suh at the podium following OTA No. 4. Says, “The one thing I won’t miss is practice.” Notes the benefit of building a partnership with guys like Brockers.
