Last year, Jared Goff and Sammy Watkins connected on only 3 of 15 passes that traveled at least 20 yards through the air. The new deep threat, Brandin Cooks, has time to make that better. …
McVay said the plan with Tavon Austin is to “develop him as a receiver, where we’re playing him in the slot, we’re playing him outside.” Obviously, opportunities will be scarce. McVay is happy for the possibility of a healthy offseason program/training camp for Austin.
Brockers, on what he likes about Suh: “His tenacity. I don’t want to say ‘nasty,’ I don’t want to put that out there, but he’s a ferocious player, man. He plays like that every snap of the ball, and I think that’s what I like about him the most is his attitude about the game.”

The @RamsNFL have played in Seattle in December or January in eight consecutive seasons (every year since 2010). That’s astounding. When the schedule is released, look for that to swing the other way. September in the Pacific Northwest would be nice.
WR Robert Woods makes the point that #LARams skill players won’t see a better secondary on Sundays than they will every rep in practice (Talib, Peters, NRC, JJIII, Lamarcus).
