    well. the combine is over.

     

    this seems like a deep draft.

     

    one interesting tidbit. multiple reports that the rams met with rome odunze.

     

    the guy is most certainly a top 10 pick. more likely a top 5 pick. could the rams attempt to trade up to get him?

     

    seems unlikely. but this guy physically and mentally appears to be off the charts.

     

    6’3″ 212 pounds. 32.25″ arms and 9.25″ hands. 4.45s 40. 39″ vertical. 10’4″ broad. 6.88s 3-cone. 4.03s short shuttle.

     

    but he’s also apparently a perfectionist. was the last guy off the field at the combine trying to improve his 3-cone time. saw the combine as a once in a lifetime opportunity to compete against the best both past and present.

     

    and his production is off the charts.

    maybe it’s all hype. maybe it’s just a smokescreen by the rams. would it be a foolish move? if the rams are able to re-sign dotson, shelton, and jackson. maybe find a bargain fa or trade for edge rusher? they’d still need defensive backs. i don’t know how they’d make a trade. what they’d have to give up. how they’d fill up all the other holes if they have to give up draft capital.
