i like cris carter’s point that talib can be a good mentor to peters as strange as that sounds. i don’t know that i completely buy it yet. but if he can be that mentor. and he has been in the past to other corners. that could make this pairing even better.
peters is the one who intrigues me the most. he’s entering his peak years. he’s got all world potential. i think this is a situation that really could bring the best out of him. talib’s preparation is supposed to be impeccable. just things like learning to study game film. study an opponent. little things could propel peters to greatness.
and not just bring the best out of peters. but joyner and johnson too. talib could have an influence on all these young defensive backs.
