Get Payton as HC and tell GW to hit the road.

The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

    Sprinkles are for winners.

I don’t want Payton. I’m believing Payton wants to stay in New Orleans. His son has two years of High School left in the area as well.

I would be very surprised if an incoming coach retains their services. Usually the prospective HC has his core staff in place when he goes to the interview.

GW has been decent and I wouldn’t hate it if he was brought back…but at this point, I think I’m ready to move on.

    But he’s a 3/4 guy. Rams really don’t have 3/4 personnel.

I wonder what will happen with Barron. At his size can he play LB in another DC’s system? Also the Rams safeties aren’t cover guys and may not fit another DC’s scheme. I’m afraid a new DC could mean a rebuild for the defense.

While I doubt it happens, keeping the defensive staff is a viable course of action.

They were/are good and with even an average offense would become more dominant.

i think donald fits any scheme. ogletree was a 3-4 inside backer in college. i think brockers could play nose tackle. just find another end and some pass rushers.

also i believe josh forrest was projected as an inside backer coming out of college.

biggest thing they’d need is some pass rushers and another defensive end.
