pff on gerald everett

    so rambill at the herd posted that pff gave everett an overall grade of 81.8.

    i decided to look it up. and by golly, he ranks fourth among all tight ends.

    so now i’m wondering what happens if they start to give him more touches. i hope he can take advantage. he’s looked good after the catch the few times he’s gotten it.

    Though there’s another possible take on that.

    I mean if PFF is going to rank Gurley 10th among RBs, what are their rankings really worth?

    Everett is showing some promise (and I had doubted him) but is he really the 4th best TE in the game?

    i don’t know. he’s ranked ahead of gronk. so how much is the ranking worth like you said?

    and if he really is the 4th best tight end, you’d think mcvay would be using him more.

    the only reason i can think of mcvay not using him more is that he was behind everyone else due to the shoulder injury. it’s a leap for sure.
