Congrats to Isaac Bruce, an 8-time 1,000-yard receiver and a Super Bowl champion in St. Louis. He also was drafted in 1994, with the Rams still in LA., and played 12 games that season.

He earned it. He went over the middle back when football was still football.

@IsaacBruce80 was the only reason that team could do anything offensively in the years leading up to the #GSOT And he still produced when alongside @BigGame81 moving forward. Go watch the film. Both great! #Rams

D’Marco told me last month, “I hope whoever gets in front of that (hall of fame selection) committee and gets to explain who Isaac Bruce is and what he meant to every team he was on can convey beyond the numbers, because you have to go beyond the numbers.”

Thanks to many selectors that supplemented my presentation with great things to say about Isaac Bruce. A true team effort just like Isaac, the ultimate team player.

He was so freaking good…. I’d take him over anyone.

Isaac Bruce was funny tonight. Said he initially didn’t answer David Baker’s knock at door just so Baker knew what it was like to wait a little.

I visited a friend in Atlanta in 1994. We went to the Rams/Falcons game and I saw Isaac Bruce’s first career TD in person. Favorite all-time Ram. One of the smoothest ever to do it, and one of the classiest too

With the addition of Bruce – Rams have second most HOF representatives

the only team with more is the Bears

The most interesting stat I discovered when writing this piece: Both Torry Holt and Reggie Wayne led their eras in both receptions and receiving yards, and both finished sixth in receiving touchdowns.

I don’t know why this one won’t post. The link is good though.

Ike B!! Long overdue!! Taught me how to be a pro. Was a privilege to get to throw so many passes to him.

I remember the first training camp that I went to in Macomb. Bruce was so incredibly smooth and fluid when running his routes that he just caught my eye on every play during 7 on 7s and full scrimmages. He was just a different athlete than everybody else. Bruce making the HOF makes me incredibly happy. Bruce and Jack Youngblood will always be my favourite Rams.
