Offense did okay, kept them in the game.

GB was all over the Rams D though.

Thought I would say that in case someone didn’t notice.šŸ˜Ž

Gbay beat the Rams Defense. Offense hung in there. Goff played good.

Donald being hurt and seemingly on a pitch count didnā€™t help the defense. A couple well time ā€œDonaldā€ plays on third down would have made a difference.

Akers is a good one. Receivers played pretty well. Goff played very well.

Oline struggled in pass blocking on too many occasions.

Disappointing loss–I hate watching the Rams when they can’t stop the run.

Pleased to see Goff turn in such a good performance. He takes too much criticism from Rams fans.

Does McVay’s play calling drive anyone else crazy?

I hope McVay remembers that the road to the Super Bowl is through a wild card game in Seattle, that tore 99ā€™s ribs, and through Green Bay when you lose to the Jets, Dolphins and to SF twice in the regular season…the 4th and 10 last second failure in Buffalo didnā€™t help either…

It was good to see them continue to battle today but the margin of error to win is slim when playing a playoff game in Green Bay against a team coming off a bye….

I still love this team, most people predicted a 6-10 season…they were much better than that.

    Canā€™t wait till next year….

I am very proud of this Rams team.

Yes, they lost to a very good Packers team with a HOF quarterback but I never felt they would even get close to the playoffs this year. They made it and competed.

Akers runs with surprising strength. Another good pick. Donald will be back–healthy.

Goff needs a great offensive line. He can win but needs a great line. Rodgers can take a step here or there, throw side arm and hit a dime. Goff can’t. He needs a clean pocket. They can win with him but I would look for upgrades on that line.

I would guess they lose some defenders but they have been pretty good finding replacements.

I’m enjoying the Mcvay years and just appreciate winning seasons. Maybe it is the fact that I lived to experience a Superbowl win. Maybe it is just getting older and appreciating smaller things.

But I’m very happy with this team.

    Thanks for a great year!

I only saw the hi-lites, but it looked like a
well-rested team against a tired team without the
    Real-Aaron-Donald. The packers just looked
like they had a little jump in their steps,
and the Rams missed a ton of tackles in the hi-lites.

We’ve seen that a million times in playoff-games
played after one team has a bye.

Not sayin the packers wouldnt have won anyway,
    but the bye-difference was clear.

Looked like Goff coulda used Kupp a few
    times too.

La Fleur has been a great match for A.Rogers,
i guess. Two 13-win season in a row. Even Dick
    Vermeil didnt accomplish that.

    11 wins, 7 losses. A wild-card team.
    With the No.1 Defense.

    I dunno, I think they under-achieved.
The 49 flops, Miami, The Jets.

Not a ‘bad’ year, but i think they under-achieved.

It’ll be interesting to see what the Rams
think they need. Bring on the draft.
Do they need a deep threat? A DE?
    One of everything? A QB?

Call me crazy but I would not be shocked if the Rams took a shot at getting Watson in some sort of trade.

I get the sense that McVay is just not thrilled with Goff.

Disappointing game, but after a bit of time away from it, I agree with the folks who say the Rams weren’t supposed to get this far. So there’s a lot to be happy about.

GB is really, really good. Rodgers is crazy good. They’re loaded on offense and their D is better than I thought.

The Rams needed to meet them with their own bye week. Without that, they really didn’t have a chance. Gotta win more games in the regular season and not kinda sorta squeeze into the playoffs.

So, where will they be next year? No first rounder and a tough cap situation. They’re going to have to get lucky in Free Agency and the Draft, and I hope they can retain some of their own D guys. I like their linebackers and edge players, and hope Staley stays for another year at least.

Tough loss in a tough year. May 2021 be a thousand times better.

I think the bye week showed itself for GB.

I think the offense did about as well as could be expected.

I think I am disappointed by the Defense. I was just getting warmed up to having a great defense again, and feeling like the defense was the reason to watch the Rams play. I said several times that the Rams would go as far as the defense took them.

I didn’t expect zero sacks or knock downs, and zero turnovers. The biggest defensive play of the game was Williams making a pass defense. That should have been around the 9th or 10th best defensive play. The defense just did not show up, and I don’t think it was simply Donald’s rib. Aaron Rodgers didn’t even have to turn his uniform into the Laundry after the game. It’s ready to go next week as is. No stains. No sweat.

I don’t know what that was. Defense is supposed to “travel.” It’s supposed to be fine in cold weather. They made no plays.

Well. I thought they had a shot at the Super Bowl after dispatching the Bucs and Pats. And I thought they might make an honorable showing in wild card weekend after the Seahawks loss.

    Got something in between.

I’m a bit disappointed because I wanted to see the defense become a signature. That was a good story line for me.

Also, I think they could beat the Bucs again, so I’m disappointed about that.

But…mostly…I am disappointed that Staley is gone when I thought we would have him another year, at least.

reaction was not good for me . The game for a January game on the road in freaking Green Bay went much better than expected. Rams were competitive
Were Donald and Kupp healthy might have been enough 3 or 4 picks dropped and failure to get the fumble hurt the Rams. Personally I ended up throwing
out a perfectly good batch of kava I made for the game because I had a fever and needed to take pain relievers to get it down . Got tested Monday got the results Weds. I got the COVID. Pretty mild symptoms so far . I think seeing Staley and now Barry leave makes me feel worse than the virus has.
