interesting… the 24-24 tie game in Candlestick…. SF was also coming off a bye week for that game, Rams were “even Steven” with SF on both the scoreboard and a bye week….

Coincidentally, I just watched that game on NFL Game pass last week. (I was in attendance for that game and never watched it on TV). During the TV broadcast, they had a “game break” update to Philly, Nick Foles came in to replace an injured Michael Vick in the Philly game…… Also, as you may recall, the Rams knocked out Alex Smith to jump start Kapernick’s career in the 24-24 tie game…..

Rams should’ve won that game, Bradford won me over in that game… he played very tough…., fucking Isaiah Pead fumbled a kick-off that resulted a quick SF TD…… Amendola was robbed in OT of a 78 yard completion on an illegal formation penalty that should’ve never been called…. refs were a mess that day, game was robbed of 1:07 minutes, when the game clock was not stopped for a 1st down measurement.

Missed FGs in by each team… Greg the Leg hit a potential game winner in OT that was nullified by a play clock penalty, then he missed it from 5 yards deeper……

despite the frustration….That was one of my favorite Ram / Niner games of all time….

I just remember the physicality and toughness exhibited by the Rams that day and their refusal to quit. Even as long as he had been a Ram I still had not really warmed up to SJax going into that game. I liked him as a player but to me he was nothing special. But the sheer determination and will to win he exhibited in that game won me over. It’s easily my favorite SJax performance.
