I just did the 270towin website where you can enter in your own electoral college votes. I tried it myself, really trying to be realistic, and come up with 269 votes each. On looking at it further, it appears the map was keeping out one Maine vote as independent. What if that vote went for Bernie or Johnson? Then there’s a tie.
In that case, the House of Reps gets to vote, ONE VOTE PER STATE, 26 states to win. The Senate gets to vote individually.
In my fun scenario, 21 states went to Hillary, 29 to Trump.
Interesting to play around with.
The polls are tightening. The debates will probably decide it, first debate most important.
