    I challenge anyone to find the last time the Rams had 4 consecutive games where they totaled less than 190 yards rushing.

    I actually wonder if it has EVER happened before.

    I have looked back at my VCR tapes of those games and the oppositions base Defense was usually to drop 6 into coverage

    one LBer would “rover” in the middle of the field on first and second down.

    Richardson had a knack for gaining 1 or 2 yards if they ran it, but even if they passed, one or two incompletes due to the massive coverage would leave us in 3rd and long.

    By 3rd down, we had a obvious passing situation that would get shut down as they could blitz and still drop 6 into coverage.

    A hopeless situation.
