“I think this team is just built with some special people.” – @awhitworth77

    Vincent Bonsignore@VinnyBonsignore
Credit to Pete for rebuilding that O-line. It’s legit.

That QB is really good. And a lot of those rushing yards are the result of teams honoring Wilson’s ability to pull the ball out rather than hand it off and throw it or run it.

#Rams lost the turnover battle 0-2. The time of possession battle and were tied on penalties. On the road. And still won.

Really good teams win games in spite of all that. More importantly, they need wins like this, where they still prevail while not at their best and the other team is playing really, really well.

Ton of pride in the #Rams locker room about going on the road in the division in a tough atmosphere and taking the #Seahawks best punch but still figuring out a way to win. They feel great about this win.

I asked #Rams T Andrew Whitworth about young WR’s Josh Reynolds and KhaDarel Hodge seamlessly stepping in today: “Guys are excited to see them get an opportunity, man. We think that (WR) room is special. A lot of really good kids that work their butts off and are prepared.”

Not even #Rams Sean McVay knows if he would have changed his mind and gone for it without the benefit of the extra time to think about it courtesy of the #Seahawks time out. And in Pete Carroll’s defense yes, you gotta call the timeout,

Spoke to #Rams Sean McVay about some headset issues on two of the timeouts he had to call. He wasn’t sure if he was doing something wrong or if it was a mechanical issue, but it went out twice forcing him to have to burn timeouts

Rams have won their last five road games for just the sixth time in franchise history and first time since 2001

It’s a blessing to see it thru with this team. But we’re not done yet, we have a long road ahead of us #1weekatatime

As bad as it looks the Rams defense has only allowed 6 fourth quarter points in 5 games and has not surrendered a fourth quarter lead. They need to improve but have played their best when the game was on the line. Give them credit for that

Todd Gurley improved his personal record to 3-1 in Seattle. Gurley, with a smile: “I told the fans it’s my stadium, it’s my city.”

After 5 games, the Rams have a 3-game lead in the NFC West. No other division has that much of a spread. The Rams are 5-0 and the rest of the division is 4-11.

Rams lost Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters in the same game and managed to win it. Then they lost Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp in the same game and managed to win it. Probably not a trend they’d like to continue.

Seattle offensive guard D.J. Fluker didn’t seem too impressed with the Rams’ defense: “They haven’t seen a team that’s played physical. They want to be pass rushers. They haven’t seen a team go out there and actually take it to them every single play.”

Troy Hill through 70 snaps is the highest graded active CB on the roster and it’s not that close.

Broncos seem to be in meltdown mode right now, so they’re either going to be angry and motivated or get turned into pavement.

There might be some truth to what Fluker is saying but some of it might just be frustration. I think Suh got into his head. Those two seemed to be in each other’s grill after every play.

on the Rams’ gutsy decision to go for it on fourth down and seal Sunday’s big win in Seattle:
Jared Goff took control of the huddle, giving “a couple words” of encouragement. “Probably not printable,” Rob Havenstein said laughing.
