He is calling the plays as well. You have 27 seconds left, 2 timeouts, inside the Steelers 10, and you take out Jay Ajayi? I know it has not been a great half for him, but the threat of him on the field, and who knows if you have the same result. Looked like something Rob Boras would have called.

JPM, do me a favor and when possible resist the temptation to start new threads when a post may actually belong in an existing thread. (Adding lots of new shorter threads depletes the page one space for existing threads.)

So for example, that’s really just a commentary on or a response to a Sunday wild card game. Given that, shouldn’t it go here, ie a thread that is already discussing that? –>

    Wild Card Crap: http://theramshuddle.com/topic/wild-card-crap/

    Or maybe this one –>

    Dolphins are getting skewered: http://theramshuddle.com/topic/dolphins-are-getting-skewered-its-all-about-hfa/

I looked in both, and felt the thread did not fit with the other posts in those threads.

Has nothing to do with what’s IN them, it’s what the thread is about. Because a thread like that (about games) will veer all over the place and contain many topics.

You posted a one-on about a wild card game. Unless you think there’s a chance a thread about Gase will attract multiple responses. But…anything having to do with wild card games fits in those 2 suggested threads.

So think of it that way. It’s like post-game threads with the Rams. All you really need is one thread on the day of the game.

The other side of the coin, as I said, is to have lots of one-on threads pushing threads off page one, plus it dilutes discussion. Here, as a rule, choose discussion over one-ons on something like responses to games.
