    from https://ramblinfan.com/davante-adams-says-quiet-part-out-loud-about-chemistry-with-matthew-stafford

Wide receiver Davante Adams regarding his chemistry with quarterback Matthew Stafford:

“You come in expecting to have a certain product, but the reality is, it takes a lot of work and takes a lot of time to get on the same page.

Obviously, he was battling the injury throughout camp, so we didn’t have some of that time to get on the same page. Some of that came throughout the course of the season, and I wouldn’t say we were as efficient as what I would like up until a couple of weeks ago.

But with some of that work and even those game reps, I think we got to a much better place now where we learned each other and we’re a lot more comfortable playing on the field together.”

Is it possible Stafford kinda gets too zoned-in on his favorite WR? Like Kupp. Or Puka.

This has nothing to do with the point Adams is making. I get that they didnt have their timing down because of the lack of practice.

Still, i wonder if Stafford would have spread the ball between Holt and Ike as well as Kurt did.

Maybe some QBs are just more mono-receiverus.

Atwell was placed on injured reserve earlier this week, so the Rams will have to find a way to fill out his snaps for at least the next four games, and Sean McVay explained how he believes the offense will work without 26-year-old.

“It’s a combination. I feel really good,” McVay said. “It’s nice to get Puka back. I think really what you look at is Jordan Whittington has done an excellent job. Xavier Smith, all he does is just do an excellent job with the opportunities that he’s granted whether that’s on special teams or on offense. It was really cool to be able to get [Konata] Mumpfield going a little bit. He’s a guy that can play different locations and spots. Obviously, you’ve got Davante. With those five receivers, you feel like you have a really good group. I think they compliment each other really well. We’ll miss Tutu. It’s a bummer, but you do feel confident in the guys that’ll be asked to step up.”

    Rams Bros.@RamsBrothers
Rams have a +58 point differential this season. It’s 6th-best in the NFL, and 2nd-best in the NFC. After today, fully expect the Rams to rise in both of those categories.
