Johnson & Johnson just agreed to pay a $230 million settlement for their role in the opioid crisis, which is less than 0.3% of their yearly revenue, and no one will go to prison. This is proof the War on Drugs has always been an excuse to enslave Black and Brown people.

People who haven’t experienced opioid addiction personally or w family or friends have a difficult time understanding just how hellish life can feel after years of painkillers like Oxycontin. The brain is broken. You just have to make the best of it.
