Wentz hasn’t been sacked today, so Eagles fans can’t use that as an excuse for him being dogshit.Jourdan Rodrigue@JourdanRodrigue

Today’s victory marks the Rams’ third-straight 2-0 start. The last time the Rams went 2-0 in three straight seasons was 1999-2001.

I love the quote from Sean McVay at half RE: the punt return.“It’ll only dictate the outcome of the game if we let it”.
All they did was come out this half and recaptured momentum and kept the foot on the pedal. Just a beautiful job by everyone involved so far!
Rams Brothers@RamsBrothers
Jared Goff: 20-27, 267 yards, 3 TD’s
Carson Wentz: 26-43, 242 yards, 0 TD’s, 2 INTJared Goff was the better QB today.

The @RamsNFL…
…defeat the Eagles for the first time since 2004.
…win in Philadelphia for the first time since 2001.

Eagles ended up being in this game for a period, but Cooper Kupp punt return made this game much closer than it should have been. Rams thoroughly beat the Eagles. Totally out-coached Doug Pederson and Jim Schwartz. Eagles on way to falling to 0-2 for first time since 2007.Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva
Tyler Higbee is the second Rams TE in team history with 3 TD catches in a gameFrank Schwab@YahooSchwab
The Eagles are underachieving again.Me, in response to “The Eagles are underachieving again”: yeah and what’s wrong with Dallas.

Sean McVay on going for it on fourth down this time around: “I betcha they didn’t think we were going to do that.”Love this – as Jared Goff was on his 13/13 streak, players were joking with him on the sideline like “oh we can’t talk to you!” as when a pitcher is throwing a perfect game.

Malcolm Brown suffered a finger injury and therefore was a bit limited near the end of the game, per team.Cameron DaSilva@camdasilva
It’s rare that the Rams go an entire game without a single tackle for loss or sack, but they had zero of either today. And still played well defensively, for the most part

But no other QB gets the credit taken away from him like Goff does on a regular basis.i do think the media underestimated the rams this year specifically because of how they rate goff. i hope he proves them wrong.

Jalen Ramsey’s name was barely called today. He had one tackle and no PBUs.Yet, it’s a sign of his dominance. Carson Wentz refused to test him, and understandably so
Greg Beacham@gregbeacham
Rams QB Jared Goff on the front office’s personnel changes: “Every year they make moves and people question them and doubt them, and every year it turns out to be the right move. I don’t know why people keep questioning them and doubting them.”BTHRams@BTH_Rams
Paradoxically, one unit that deserves credit for the offensive gameplan and execution? The defense.
If the #Rams needed to chase points, they wouldn’t have been able to keep things simplified. Defense lightening the load for Goff & O-line.

This is one of those games so full of great moments and gut-out situations that as a sportswriter you just really miss a postgame locker room for details and adequate followups, context checks, etc. for the fans and readers. Zoom rushed assembly line just isn’t the same.(I know, this is not a real problem contextually and we are lucky but I just miss really getting into those moments…as Sean McVay says, “this Zoom stuff is for the birds.”)
McVay says Darious Williams made one of the plays of the game with the pick and that Darrell Henderson was a real bright spot.
That’s a big moment for Troy Hill, who switched over this summer for only about two weeks of live work at nickel and, despite some inconsistency, has put a little more together there every week.
Still some things to iron out in this pretty young Rams secondary but it’s promising to see how everybody swarms to the ball and stepping up in those types of situations.
still some things to iron out in my grammar and sentence structure, too. lack of a preseason hurts here.

“We feel like a physical bunch… we’re popping our pads and hearing good collisions,” Sean McVay on the Rams defense.September 20, 2020 at 8:03 pm #121393znModeratorfrom: https://theramswire.usatoday.com/lists/rams-eagles-takeaways-analysis-week-2/
Van Jefferson might already be WR3
Jefferson has seemingly surpassed Josh Reynolds as the No. 3 receiver on the depth chart, especially after his performance against the Eagles. He caught four of the five passes that came his way, turning them into 45 yards with a long of 21.
Jefferson’s route running was on display against the Eagles and showed why the Rams were so high on him in the draft. Two of his catches came on third down, too, though one of them was just short of the sticks.
Reynolds finished with only two catches on two targets for 33 yards with a long of 20 yards. The Rams will continue to give both players snaps, but Jefferson looks good in the early goings.

the run game the last two games is better than i have seen over any two games last year. This was after having a good run game against Dallas. Eagles defense after the game said they knew what was coming but just couldn’t stop it. Now thats a run game.

I was starting to worry about Henderson. He had a game today.

for all the talk about mcvay’s offensive genius he’s at his best when he’s pounding the rock.
they’re second in rushing attempts right now.
also goff is currently second in ypa. love watching this offense.
