    I watched Pain and Gain, starring Mark Wahlberg and The Rock. Its one of them dysfunctional-criminal-movies. Or maybe its a dysfunctional-society-movie. Or maybe its a black-comedy. Or maybe it was Pumping-Iron meets There Will Be Blood. I dunno. There’s a lot goin on in this movie.

    I liked it. Its purty over-the-top, and probly not all that accurate, and it aint for everybody, but I liked it. It had a little Boogie Nights in it, too, maybe.

    The Rock is quite the movie-star. He has the ‘it’ factor. Like Clint, like Burt, Like Bruce Lee, Bruce Willis, etc. Not a great actor, but he’s ok and he is very watchable. Lots of charisma, Quite funny.
