The staff has so much confidence in Aaron Kromer’s ability to identify and develop prospects.
If you line up the Rams last 3 good OL coaches–Hanifan, Boudreau, Kromer–there’s no doubt that all 3 had the ability to develop good prospects.
All 3 have long, very good track records with that.
What seems to set Kromer apart is that when it comes to drafting anyway, he is also able to identify good prospects.
That was just not always true of Hanifan and Boudreau. And btw from everything I have seen, the OL coach has a huge say in which linemen a team drafts. That has certainly been the case with the Rams.
Hanifan does have Pace but that was a no-brainer.
Boudreau was much better coaching up veterans. And veterans of all kinds too–big money free agents, cast-offs and other ronin.
Kromer seem like he can pick em in the draft, and coach em.
