Prior to Stefon Diggs’ TD in the Divisional Round, 5 teams in the last 10 seasons had won a playoff game on a walk-off TD to advance to another postseason game that season

All 5 of those teams lost their next game, by an average of 23 points

Peter King on @WEEI: Matt Patricia was basically second top candidate in last year’s #Rams HC opening

Doug Marrone on what he might have learned from Tom Coughlin’s two Super Bowl wins over New England:

“I haven’t watched them. Seriously. If I’m not in it, I don’t watch it… Unless I have to, I’m sorry. David Tyree made a great catch though, he’s a Syracuse guy.”

Randy Fichtner will be Steelers new offensive coordinator, pending final agreement of contract.

As @RapSheet said, Steelers won’t give OC Todd Haley a new contract. Second offensive coordinator that Mike Tomlin has whacked in his time in Pittsburgh.

Should be noted that Todd Haley’s ouster comes three days after his offense scored 42 points on the NFL’s second-ranked defense in a divisional playoff game. And after a year during which Pittsburgh ranked third in the NFL in total offense.

Vicious dusting of snow in Nashville wreaking havoc on Titans’ coach interview schedule. Per sources, Texans DC Mike Vrabel now sitting down with the team on Thursday, Rams OC Matt LaFleur going in on Friday.

Interesting nugget I picked up: Patriots coach Bill Belichick was consulted during Jaguars’ search last year, and gave Doug Marrone a glowing recommendation. Went a long way with Jax. A year later, he’ll face him for the AFC title.

The fact that the Steelers were dead last in the NFL in play action usage (9.5% of passes) with Le’Veon Bell is itself a fireable offense

A great way to explain this NFL season is that German Shepherd dog masks are being ordered in such mass by @Eagles fans, they are sold out worldwide. It’s been an odd season

    Ian Rapoport@RapSheet
#Falcons special teams coach Keith Armstrong is flying in to Arizona tomorrow and will have a second interview with the #AZCardinals for their head coach position on Friday, sources say.

The #Seahawks officially hired OC Brian Schottenheimer, DC Ken Norton Jr., and OL coach Mike Solari. They fired DC Kris Richard and LBs coach Michael Barrow. Big changes.

Plenty of coaches have trepidation about AZ job. No clear path to a QB. Tough division. Are there sweeping changes again in few years?

Had Mike Munchak not bailed on the Cardinals job, he was the guy going into 2nd interviews Despite whatever else you hear on that

    J.B. Long@JB_Long
If CB is one of #LARams biggest offseason needs, cannot overlook what 32 and 47 did in the closing weeks of the season. Hill (SEA & ATL), in particular.

    Andrew Siciliano@AndrewSiciliano
Rams have 49 of Russell Wilson’s 248 career sacks. Nearly 20%.

Paying it forward: Bengals’ fans are donating to Blake Bortles’ favorite charity for beating Steelers:
