I have zero confidence in him. Shrimp wideouts in the NFL just don’t do well. Wasted pick. NEXT!

Well, my only hope is that the Rams opponents never forget Havenstein either.

So, have you ever left a store and walked all over the parking lot looking for your car and then after too long of a time remembered that you drove your wife’s car to the store? Or, was it just me?

Happens to me all the time

Barksdale is losing more and more leverage each day. Snisher might just see those ‘refrigerater with legs” and say screw it.

So the argument is that the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. Or basically “the crime didn’t really help that much”.
    I hate them all.

Hopefully Robinson will solely practice at Left Tackle this year. That will expedite his learning curve. Going up against Quinn will also expedite it

Too bad they weren’t all suspended for the season – Brady, Belichek, Kraft, and all the NE fans everywhere. I vote no football in New England this season and make em all walk the plank too the wretched, scurvy, cheatin, low-lifes they be.

What they received is really almost a slap on the wrist considering the amount of money that franchise generates. The only real thing is the suspension which will likely be appealed to two. Seems to me that they’ll save over a million not having to pay a first round draft pick.

New England fans have a decent argument. They HAVE to cheat to make up for the losing a draft pick from the last time they got caught cheating. It all makes sense now.

Seems to me that the Rams drafted 3 guys that really only fit the guard mold. Brown, Donnal, and Wick.

I mostly agree but I also think that if he works out, Donnal is a swingman, and as such a 2nd stringer at LOT not just ROT.

They do have other tackles on the roster though…the only question is how good they will be this summer.

There’s Reynolds and Baker. Maybe Washington.

Though this is not an argument against signing JB. I would like to see them do that, actually.

I don’t have any confidence in Donnal as a tackle, but I guess you never know.

Seems to me that the Rams drafted 3 guys that really only fit the guard mold. Brown, Donnal, and Wick. Haverstein (spelling?) is the only one that can come close to playing tackle right now.

I’m with Mack, we NEED Barksdale, and if we get him, we might be all right until some of these guys are ready by mid-season.

I am anxious to see what Bou can do with this bunch. He takes UDFA and turns them into capable back-ups and sometimes starters. What can he do with guys with more talent and better athleticism. I wouldn’t be surprised with 3 starters.

Of course I’m usually wrong…so….i may have just killed it for all of us.

I think it was a response the something foreshadowing the divorce. He has relapsed into some craziness, and i am wondering if he just will never be the same again.

He is not comprehending the divorce. Trying to “make things work”. She has told him several times outright that she wants a divorce and that she has no other intentions.

Now her family is telling him. Our whole family is telling him, and he doesn’t get it. He still posts her picture on facebook and captions it as “the greatest blessing in my life”. He doesn’t even realize she is trying to divorce him. She lives somewhere else, and isn’t responding to his phone calls or texts.

I find this whole thing surreal. The patriots are not apologetic about this at all. The statement by Kraft was insulting. The gyst of it seemed to be, “you don’t have hard evidence against us, therefore you really didn’t catch us doing anything”. No denial, no apologies, no admission.

It’s almost like they don’t understand why the rest of the world doesn’t just shut up and let them cheat their way to ANOTHER superbowl.

And the obnoxious patriot fans that call this a witch hunt…..I can’t believe the level of denial.

For the Patriots, it’s just the cost of doing business. It reminds me of this old movie I watched. Where this big car company decided not to re-call the cars b/c they calculated the cost of lawsuits (from the families of people that died by their cars) is still less than the cost of fixing all those cars. So they did nothing.

Just the cost of doing business.

I am shocked. I really thought Brady and the Pats would get away with it.

Well…they did get to win the Super Bowl.

And I’d favor them to do it again
    next year.

Yeah, that’s the bottom line isn’t it. They get to keep the fruits of their “labor”. Not that they didn’t get punished. They got punished for spygate too. This really isn’t a deterrent to cheating, which is why it keeps happening to the same organization. I’d be pissed if I was Sean Payton.

Sacks/Stuffs doesnt seem to have much relationship to winning, if the top of that chart is any indication.

One also needs to score points.

    .

    And stop big plays.

Plus it helps if your defense can gets sacks and stuff the run, too.

But, one also needs to score points.

    And stop big plays.

He looked really good in those one on one drills. It’ll be interesting to see how he does against the Rams defensive line in practice. LOL, I’d hate to be a rookie trying to make a name for myself and have to go against Chris Long and Robert Quinn, etc.

little things make big things happen……..

deflating a ball by 20% in air volume is not ticky tacky, it’s a clear advantage.

So what should Troy Vincent do about it?

And keep in mind, the investigator said
“Its more likely than not” — thats not exactly
    proof-positive. Ya know.

What in the world should the League do about this?
I have no clue. I mean deflating balls is a clear violation,
but it also kinda feels…oh…somewhat ridiculous and ticky-tacky.

    w
    v

I don’t feel like it’s ticky-tacky. Sometimes, tiny advantages can have monumental outcomes. They are too easily dismissed with the notion “it wouldn’t have mattered anyway”, but nobody really knows that.
If this were the olympics, they’d take the gold medal away.
If it were college, they’d take away the national title. This is the NFL, so a slap on the wrist, if that. At least they didn’t destroy the evidence this time.

And it appears that every OL the Rams drafted this year has that “mauler” mentality. They all just keep going, and keep hitting people.

I tell you, that kind of mindset makes up for talent deficiencies. Obviously, you would like both in a player, but I think I’d rather sacrifice some size or length or technique for attitude, then get another Barron.

And Greg Robinson was described the same way. In the 4th quarter, if you have an OL that just keeps on hitting, they are just going to wear guys down.

So theoretically, the run game gets harder to stop as the game goes on. Wouldn’t that be interesting to see.
