Here’s what needs to be understood. We’ve had the 15 contiguous hottest years on record WHILE THE SUN WAS PUTTING OUT LESS AND LESS ENERGY.

Not true. The earth has cooled. The data gathered and used has always been flawed once there became an agenda to be followed and an ideology to be defended. Hockey stick, much?

Periods of global warming have always been periods of prosperity for mankind. Global cooling is what is to be feared. Always has been. History proves it. That elevation of CO2 and other so called greenhouse gases by your logic is what staves off the next ice age. That is a good thing.

I prefer to look at the positives such as a dominating defense should Quinn return to form and a premier RB in Gurley to take considerable pressure off the rookie QB who should be able to throw down field.

And IF you can say the electorate in NY 40 years ago was mainly white like Washington now, then can’t you say what has largely changed the democratic party is the black voice?

    This should be helpful.

Solar increase over the next 20-30 years? I’d bet against it. At least the primary contribution of the sun to the warming and cooling of the earth was acknowledged. Kudos for that.

BS. Do the math. He didn’t grow up watching Everett. He would have watched Warner and Bulger.

He’s trying to be respectful and may have at least seen highlights or known of them–but Ferragamo in particular? He’d have had to research that.

Either way–I hope Everett told him to avoid “phantom” sacks.

That 9ers team was in Everett’s head.

Just watched again the Rams win in Seattle and watched Hekker go down twice in a few seconds over phantom hits. Funny stuff.

Ah, stuff’s come up, so I’m left leaving another tidbit and teasing you all…

Fisher’s sticking with his quasi-WCO… which has never worked in this division. Why? Athletic LBs. It worked in the 80s because the purpose of the WCO is to horizontally stretch the field. What defeats the horizontal stretch? Athletic LBs who can run. What does this division have in abundance? Athletic LBs who can run.

Think about it. Even New Orleans with Drew Brees, who NO ONE is saying is a lesser QB than Goff, has struggled against the defenses of the NFC West in a very mature Gulf Coast WCO (Sean Payton’s variant). So, what chance is the rookie Goff going to have against the NFC West with an immature and incomplete WCO variant?

What’s worse, they’ve drafted PERFECTLY if they were going to implement the Pittsburgh variant of the Earhardt Perkins offense (another reason why Wentz was the perfect fit, btw). From the offensive linemen to the TEs, to the big WRs to Tavon Austin to Gurley who’s not only a fast power back who can be an exceptional receiver… everything was drafted as if from the Pitt FO.

So, even before I type the whole thing out, here’s the tl;dr, Goff should be fine in a WCO, but he’s going to a quasi-WCO that doesn’t work and doesn’t put the QB or eligible receivers in positions to succeed. Couple that with a bevy of rookie WRs/TEs and this offense not only isn’t set to be productive in the near term, unless there are exceptional people at all of the skill positions, not just QB, it’s not set up to be productive in the long term.

Nothing quasi-WCO about it. Rams are in LA now. That is as West Coast as it gets.

Rams were dead last in passing last season. Should do better this season perhaps in the high teens? This year should be fun and finally 9-7 or better. 2017 and 18 watch out. This Rams team will be elite. Because I say so.

My only motivation is fear of a Trump Presidency. I probably won’t know for certain which way I’ll go until I step in the voting booth in November. I won’t feel good either way when I come out.

Why do you fear a Trump presidency? Would you rather have more war? Do you want less jobs brought back to the US? Would you rather have corporations move to other countries then sell their product here with no consequences? Are you against allowing corporations to bring cash back into the US to spur job growth? Is it wrong to have US citizens irradiated every time they board a plane with their identification and in case of foreign travel their passport and proof of immunization while illegal immigrants merely walk in with the assistance of the US government?

Clinton loves war. Clinton loves shipping US jobs around the world. Clinton loves big money. Like a fly on shit Clinton can’t resist big money. She isn’t trustworthy and much like Bush in ’00 only worse the Democratic Party couldn’t field any reasonable opposition to her? They had to let Bernie in just to make it look like an election? Why not say no to that oligarch?

Dude…this film was produced by Andrew Wakefield…a disgraced MD from the UK who falsified data in a paper (later retracted) linking MMR with Autism for personal gain. It’s easy to research. He’s making money off desperate parents. The man is despicable.

If you’re on that side…I won’t even go further.

I don’t have a side. Either Dr. Thompson is telling the truth about the falsified CDC study or he isn’t. If he is telling the truth then the motives for the cover up and the disregard for public safety becomes the issue not Dr. Wakefield.

Hillary will have to pardon herself to not be president in federal prison.

Well, if they are going to indict her, I hope it’s sooner than later. Like in the next couple of weeks. And I hope they DO indict her because we are past the two minute warning on the environment, wealth disparity, and democracy.

There’s slam dunk evidence against her and it is all Gov. 101 stuff.

I’ll just wait for the FBI, if you don’t mind. There are people who believe Benghazi and Vince Foster etc were all slam dunk crimes, too.

I don’t mind. The email stuff is slam dunk. You can’t conduct government business on a private server. You can’t send classified materials in an unsecured manner. You can’t instruct someone to cut off a classification header and then send it whether by secure or unsecured means. That is three slam dunks and I know I’m missing some others. Like I said this is Gov. 101 stuff.

I only posted the opinion portion of his column. The first part that set the stage for his opinion I did not post. Sorry about that. If you didn’t read it he gave examples leading up to his opinion piece.

In my opinion Gobry nailed it. Self interest whether from money or politics has corrupted science. We see examples of it all the time. Two of the most recent are the DeNiro film pulled from the Tribeca Film festival in which a government scientists participated in the destruction of data concerning vaccine safety to publish a fraudulent narrative. The data showed the multiple vaccine shot MMR (Measels, Mumps, Rubella) caused unquestionable harm to boys and negroes ranging from a lowering of IQ scores to severe physical disability. One scientist involved kept his copy of the data and documents and went public. Another example is a study from 50 years ago involving thousands of people in mental institutions and nursing homes placed on restrictive diets to see the effects of replacing saturated fat with vegetable oil. The study was of the gold standard variety due to the huge number of participants and the restrictive nature of their meals and the duration of the study being 5 years. The study was to prove the health benefits of vegetable oil and was undertaken by a friend and colleague of the saturated fat is bad for you guru Ancel Keys. What became quite apparent was the vegetable oil diet increased the death rate of the participants from causes other than heart disease and significantly overall compared to those not on a diet using vegetable oil. Since the data was irrefutable the study was purged and only became known due to the son of the lead researcher combing through the contents of his deceased fathers home to find the data in a dusty box in the basement. The study concluded in the early ’70s as the saturated fat is bad for you fad began to be saturated throughout our culture.

BNW…You referred to “Vaxxed”. Are you saying the message in the film has validity?

I have not seen the film but I’ve known of the accusations by the CDC whistleblower Dr. William Thompson for quite some time.

    From the Vaxxed site, http://vaxxedthemovie.com-

Synopsis – In 2013, biologist Dr. Brian Hooker received a call from a Senior Scientist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) who led the agency’s 2004 study on the Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccine and its link to autism.

The scientist, Dr. William Thompson, confessed that the CDC had omitted crucial data in their final report that revealed a causal relationship between the MMR vaccine and autism. Over several months, Dr. Hooker records the phone calls made to him by Dr. Thompson who provides the confidential data destroyed by his colleagues at the CDC.

Dr. Hooker enlists the help of Dr. Andrew Wakefield, the British gastroenterologist falsely accused of starting the anti-vax movement when he first reported in 1998 that the MMR vaccine may cause autism. In his ongoing effort to advocate for children’s health, Wakefield directs this documentary examining the evidence behind an appalling cover-up committed by the government agency charged with protecting the health of American citizens.

Interviews with pharmaceutical insiders, doctors, politicians, and parents of vaccine-injured children reveal an alarming deception that has contributed to the skyrocketing increase of autism and potentially the most catastrophic epidemic of our lifetime.
