When Blythe came out I was suspicious of his length and power. And he was a bit stiff. I had him as an undrafted FA … and coming into camp I thought Eldrenkamp would make him obsolete.

So … it has to be what Kromer has done with him. There is a chance he could have loosened his stiffness and added extra strength, absolutely. And honestly, it looks like he has. He also could be surrounded by really good players, that make his deficiencies not as much of a big deal …

Personally, I’m not sold on him. But Iowa linemen have a history. They generally know the more difficult parts of the game to learn. Their mind is trained and they understand cooperative assignments. So maybe he just needed a little boost in the strength and agility department. My vote isn’t in yet, but I’m cautiously optimistic.

    I have us drafting ” 92: R3P28
    C FRANK RAGNOW
    ARKANSAS
” in the 3rd, if he is there. He could also be a good guard.

Yes, I’m now pushing for 4th round. The player I would love us to grab, but may to trade out of the first round, pick up an early 2nd round pick, and grab and extra third or fourth rounder.

The player I would love for us to draft is Martinas Rankin LOT Mississippi State. There is no future behind Andre Whitworth right now, and Rankin’s makes sense
