    Couldn’t a “Local Municipal Source” be a sewage treatment plant?

    But, who wants their electrolytes from a GMO source? Not this guy…

    It’s worth knowing that they didn’t alter the genes of potassium bicarbonate, calcium chloride, and magnesium chloride. Plus I actually like the idea that their water is from a local municipal source. That’s familiar, grounded, and reassuring, since everyone knows what a kitchen faucet is.

    The Non-GMO Project is a for-profit organization that awards the rights to display that label to any company that’s willing to pay for it.

    Even when its a product that contains no genes, like the water pictured above. There’s even Non-GMO Project Verified table salt.

    I do my best not to buy products that contain that ridiculous label, but it’s getting harder and harder to do so.
