Police found a gun in Westbrook’s vehicle that was not registered to him. Depends on whether it was loaded, whether it is a stolen gun, whether it was ever used in a crime, but mostly depends on Westbrook’s criminal history. Likely not a big thing though he has some explaining to do.

Jack if a guy’s within the rules he can say what he wants. We can’t ask people to drop stuff like that.

Maybe I should have worded it better. I wanted to be short. This is to because Westbrooks has a facial tattoo, means he is a bad guy. Just because someone has a facial tattoo, doesn’t mean the person is a bad person. Granted I don’t have one, but I believe we need to stop looking at the person because they may have a tattoo. I can understand like big time CEO jobs per say for corporate offices and such, but not in the NFL.

Rams defensive lineman Ethan Westbrooks, on his arrest over the weekend: “Its just a bad situation.” Westbrooks, arrested for allegedly driving around with a stolen handgun in Kern County on Friday night, said Sean McVay spoke to him and told him the organization is supportive. Asked if he would play Sunday, Westbrooks said: “It’s been normal so far. As far as Sunday, I honestly can’t tell you.”

What I assume: he wanted a gun for his own reasons and someone he knew sold him one and he did not ask too many questions. Because it was stolen in 2009 does not mean EW had it for 8 years.
