    John Wolford said he could have driven to the hospital in SEA, but they wanted to be extra careful, hence the ambulance.

    He asked staff to hold a video stream up for him so he could still watch the game and was able to return to the locker room the celebrate with teammates.

    Wolford says he is pretty close to back to functionality etc., but “this type of injury” is dangerous and troublesome if re-aggravated so understands team taking extra precaution. FWIW, McVay says he had a stinger, so all of that makes sense.

    Rams QB John Wolford has been ruled out for Saturday, per Sean McVay, but will still travel with the team. So Jared Goff will start against Green Bay, backed up by Blake Bortles.

    McVay added he was impressed with how Goff has handled the situation the last couple weeks. Notably stresses “great” internal conversations between the two that are not privy to the public that showed him how tough Goff would be mentally and physically in getting through it.

    Goff says he is feeling a lot better in terms of how the ball is coming out of his hand, grip and functionality. Little natural soreness but feeling really good.

    This is obviously an unprecedented situation for Donald, who has never had an injury hold him out of multiple days of practice and certainly never a game. Injuries don’t happen to Aaron Donald; Aaron Donald happens to injuries.
