Wes Welker's contract w/Rams for remainder of 2015 season pays him $456K base, $200K signing bonus, w/$300K in incentives.

so it could max out at $956,000 over 8 games; Rams are $7.5 million under the cap.

That is 3 million more than any of the salary cap web sites have. But JT is usually right. Maybe they restructured Quinn? That would give them ~3 million. If that is so, maybe they are close to extending one of our FAs for next year? I am only guessing.

Well it depends I suppose on what someone means by “malice,” but there is “outside the parameters, I intend to hurt you” malice and there’s “I bring intimidation with me” malice that’s not that level of bad. I don’t think Joyner meant the “meaner version of malicious” kind of harm.

Short version: yeah it’s good they did not.
