RBs coach Thomas Brown “blew out his achilles” while running drills yesterday per Sean McVay and will have surgery. He won’t miss really any time, per McVay.
Cool to hear McVay talk about Brown and his coaching style. Been on his hire list for a long time. Would say he is on a coordinator and head coaching track. McVay says he has that potential and leadership – “the sky is the limit for him” (obviously does not ever want to lose him)

“He can do what ever he wants. I think he’s definitely a coordinator” and has “head coach potential.”

Not to be “that guy” but based on Rams OC history I would say it’s probably inevitable that the Rams lose KOC at some point; Thomas Brown would be on a very short list for McVay, I would imagine, to move into that offensive coordinator role.

Injury updates from Rams HC Sean McVay:
Expects both LB Micah Kiser (groin) and OL Bobby Evans (shoulder) to be ready to go for Sunday Night’s game against the 49ers.
Kiser will be listed as questionable, but McVay is optimistic about him playing.
