Listen to the final call of the game as Michael Brockers stuffs Marshawn Lynch to give the Rams the overtime win.

This has to be one of the ALLTIME best Ram openers.

    Maybe THE best.

Can anyone think of a better, more significant,
more exciting Opening win that this?

    I cant.

I can think of a couple of other good ones.

    Baltimore 99.

And, an exciting game though for some wrong reasons (including bad defense):

    Denver, 2000.

it’s the best i can remember. i mean you had the uneasiness in the first half. then the young rams surge in the third quarter. then the deflation brought on by a seahawks comeback. and just when you think it’s over. they fight back to tie it. overtime was just icing on the cake. i haven’t been that thrilled in awhile. especially a season opener.

On the PD boards I used to read a lot of complaints about Farr’s work on the radio. I think it was mostly posters who did not like him on one of the local daily sports talk shows. I don’t know about that because I’ve never listened to his shows, but as a Rams analyst he’s my favourite. I used to really like Jack Snow too, but Farr is good at identifying who is doing what, who’s doing their job and who’s not. He’s also a good homer when he needs to be, and sometimes I need that during a broadcast.

Farr is very good but I miss Jim Hanifan.

The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

    Sprinkles are for winners.
