    I am currently rewatching “The Wire” and it is still as riveting as ever.  However, one thing that has really resonated with me this go round is just how striking the cinematography is. Outside or indoors, every scene is a work of art visually.  I don’t know if I’ve ever noticed this is a another TD series before.

    I finished Season 1 (for the first time) about a month ago.

    I will start the second season in June, I think.  It’s a really good show, though I have to say that I haven’t seen anything surprising or revelatory.

    Although I often see fans of the show describe it as their least favourite of the 5 seasons, season 2 is where I was became obsessed with The Wire. Season one hooked me for sure, but the change of direction in season 2 caught me off guard in a good way. The characters and storylines are what always keep me watching and now rewatching.

    I intend to watch all of it.

    It has been called the best TV series ever, and even if I don’t end up agreeing with that final assessment, as far as watching TV goes, I am pretty confident I won’t end up feeling like I completely wasted my time.

    great series   very cool that you folks are watching it for the 1st time.

    I really liked the 2nd season  (The Greek)

    Final season was a little over the top, but overall great series.
