What are your thoughts on Kromer and the OLine? Do you believe the OLine will play well this year? Are there any concerns with the OLine, not including injuries? What concerns would it be?

I am reasonably optimistic. A few injuries could ruin this (spoken like a veteran Rams fan) but right now, there are reasons to be fairly optimistic about all this, including:

    Kromer

    Whitworth

    Sullivan

I think Hav at guard, Brown at ROT will work.

I think that while the line had its own issues last year, Gurley ALSO had issues, and that he is working on that. A better Gurley means a more effective OL means a better Goff which means a better OL too.

The Rams line in 2013 was ranked 13th by PFF and I think this one is at least as good as that one was.

Whitworth/Long. I rate this as equal, with AW being the better pass blocker of the 2.
Saffold/Saffold. This as we all know could be just an opportunity for someone like Donnal to step in. Donnal did okay at guard last year.
Sullivan/Wells. Different types but when they’re both at their best, equal.
Hav/Williams+Smith. I think Hav is probably better than that combo.
Brown/Barksdale. More of an unknown. If Brown is at least as good as Barksdale was that year, then, they’re set across the board.

there’s a synergistic effect to be sure.

not just across units (i would also say improvements at wr should make goff better and in turn should make the line better).

but within the unit as well. they need not just experience as individuals. and they should be a year wiser. but they need experience playing together. they also need consistency. hopefully, this oline can stay together and players can stay at their position consistently and get some chemistry going.

lots of things to watch this training camp.
