I have to cut the lawn, so I will be watching the 2nd half of whoever has a close game at that point…maybe:
Packers/Bears?Panthers/Ravens?
At 4 there’s the 9ers/Eagles game. So if all else fails, there’s that. Plus, it’s one of those games where you can root for a 0-0 tie.
September 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm #8634PA RamParticipantI am taking the dog for a walk today—it’s overdue–I’ve been lazy—she was promised for several days and then had those promises broken. She has been giving me the silent treatment–and pooping in my shoes. I SHOULD get to the gym but let’s be honest–not happening today.
So…it’ll be a RedZone channel day. I have no interest in any particular game. I’ll let them decide what I watch.
Of course tonight at 10 PM it’s “The Strain” no matter what game is on. That show is gruesome, creepy, chilling, sometimes tough to watch…much like a Rams game.

September 28, 2014 at 3:35 pm #8636znModeratorI can’t get interested. I keep doing paperwork instead of watching. The game that’s playing is….Bux/Steelers. I think at that point I had lost the remote, so, that’s the game the tv is piping to me as its non-audience.
Maybe the 9ers/Eagles?
Enh, we’ll see.
September 28, 2014 at 3:44 pm #8637joemadParticipantGot Bucs vs Steelers…..tightest game right now on Sunday Tix
Got the Raider game on the radio in the backyard …….backyard antenna tv is showing Bears vs Pack.
September 28, 2014 at 4:41 pm #8639znModeratorEagles just blocked a 9er punt in the redzone and recovered it for a TD.
I hope the St. Louis coaches watch this game, or something, cause, we don’t want the Eagles doing that to the Rams.
September 28, 2014 at 7:54 pm #8646wvParticipant49ers D shut down the Philly O,

September 28, 2014 at 8:13 pm #8651PA RamParticipantAnd despite that success–the 49ers still managed to look bad.
Delay of game penalties, Kaepernik looks slow and indecisive in the pocket. I wasn’t impressed with either team.
The Rams can beat Philly.
They can, they will, they must.

September 28, 2014 at 8:21 pm #8652PA RamParticipantSome thoughts on the games:
Bridgewater is going to be a very good quarterback–IF he can stay healthy. He looks just a bit fragile out there.
I don’t know if Harbaugh has lost the 9ers but that team looks dysfunctional to me.
The Falcons have an abysmal defense. And their roster may soon look like a M.A.S.H. unit casualty list. The tight end was playing right tackle. Seriously.
How the hell does Tampa Bay beat Pittsburgh? How?
Buffalo and offense–two things that do not go together.
J.J. Watt–okay–he’s pretty great.
Panthers sure coulda used Steve Smith.
Who had the Bengals and Cardinals as the last two undefeated teams? Raise your hands. Uh-huh–thought so.

September 28, 2014 at 10:28 pm #8661znModeratorApparently, Dallas is really explosive and you’re not supposed to take them lightly.
So it seems.
At 5:04 in the 3rd quarter, Dallas 31 New Orleans 3.
Seems Romo being a bit gimpy early led to them being underestimated.
September 29, 2014 at 7:27 am #8667PA RamParticipantThe Saints have a terrible defense. For anyone who has ever accused the Rams of tackling poorly(I raise my own hand)just watch the Saints. It looks like they’re playing tag and the offensive player is IT and they’re trying to get out of the way. Just awful.
They’re offense wasn’t too great either. The mighty Saints have fallen.
Having said that–Murray is the best running back in the game right now. He’s elusive, fast and strong.

September 29, 2014 at 11:00 am #8673GreatRamNTheSkyParticipantCowboys are looking good. I didn’t think they were very good coming into the Rams game but they really mauled the Saints last night. That’s a real good offense Dallas has and Linehan is doing a good job of play calling. Murray is a beast at running back. Might be the best RB in the game this side of Adrian Petersen.

September 29, 2014 at 11:02 pm #8706znModeratorWatching KC slaughter the Patz.
Not sure how I feel about that.
Kidding.
Of course I know.
September 29, 2014 at 11:55 pm #8708GreatRamNTheSkyParticipantCan we go ahead and state that the Patriots just aint what they use to be? Maybe Tom Brady should retire than take a beating like he’s taking on this inferior Patriot offensive line that plays in front of him. Chiefs are a decent team but last time I checked it was 41-7 Chiefs. Huh?

No.
I think he should stick around and take a beating.
September 30, 2014 at 6:47 am #8713PA RamParticipantI had the Chiefs pick in my weekly pool at work and that would have given me enough to win the weekly pool but it was a tie and came down to total points selected for the game. My co-worker had 48 points. I had 46.
This is why I hate the Pats. They ruin everything. Not only do they give up 41 points on their own. They score 14 garbage points.
I hope they lose every game 41-14 now. By the way—if you reverse the 1 and 4 in the Pats score(14) you get the 4 and 1 or (41) that the Chiefs scored.
Can any of you math majors tell me what that’s called? Surely there has to be some name for that, right? It’s not a palindrome because that would have to be 414 to 414. I have been up all night worried about this. Is there a name for this sort of thing or are we in some strange new world now? Can I name it a “PA Ram” sequence and have I discovered the link to the “Unified Theory of Everything”?
Or is it just a thing and I should try to lay off the caffeine before bed?
In any case the Pats are losers and that’s always a good thing.

September 30, 2014 at 9:16 am #8717znModeratorThe Patz lose their legendary OL coach (Dante Scarnecchia) and trade away Mankins, and suddenly Brady doesn;t look as good.
I wonder if there’s a connection.
