I’m wondering how many marchers were there? Doesnt seem to be any solid estimates. I saw this but i dont trust usa2day estimates:
“…White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany claimed on Twitter that the crowd size was “more than one million marchers,” and Trump said on Twitter that “hundreds of thousands of people” turned out. But reporters on the scene estimated that there were tens of thousands of people at the rally…”

TOPLINE
The White House seems to have again been caught in a fib when it comes to overstating crowd size, after Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany claimed Saturday that āMore than one MILLIONā marchers descended on Washington for the āMillion MAGA Marchā in support of President Donald Trumpāa claim that many on social media pointed out seemed to be greatly overstated based on actual pictures of the event.
KEY FACTS
Photos and video appeared to show a crowd of much smaller than one million gathered in Washington for the pro-Trump event, which was organized in response to the presidentās repeated false claims of rampant voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
Trump himself made an appearance, albeit in a motorcade, waving to the crowd as he went on his way to his private golf club.
The New York Times noted that as Trump passed by, he was greeted by āhundredsā of supporters.
Among the crowd of supporters were members of the Proud Boys, a violent, far-right group that supports Trump
CHIEF CRITICS
Many on Twitter couldnāt help but point out that what is likely the last large pro-Trump Washington gathering during his administration appeared to be overstated the same way the very first one was. Nearly four years ago, Sean Spicer, Trumpās original press secretary, falsely claimed that the crowd for Trumpās inauguration was the biggest of all-time, when it was only a modest turnout..
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
Women for American First planned a āMarch for Trumpā Saturday, going from Freedom Plaza to the Supreme Court. A permit for the march estimated 10,000 people would participate.KEY BACKGROUND
Trump has not conceded that he has lost the presidential election, even as he trails President-elect Joe Biden by around 5.5 million votes and he looks poised to lose the Electoral College vote by a count of 306-232āthe exact same amount he repeatedly claimed represented a ālandslideā 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton. Trump has repeated to press on with false claims of rampant fraud, even as courts around the country continue to reject those claims because he does not have evidence. Those claims seem to have connected with his devoted base of supporters, though.BIG NUMBER
86%. Thatās the percentage of Trump supporters that do not believe Biden legitimately won the election, according to polling from The Economist and YouGov. A similar percentage said Trump should not concede the election.

vAlthough the “commentators” are echoing Trump about the election, the actual news guys insist on reporting on it straight. So they have sold out and hype the fake news as if the election weren’t stolen by democrats, witches, demons, and Soros.

vIn the past year, FOX News has said a couple of things that bordered on truthful. I think the first thing was on Covid stuff, and his rallies.
I saw the National Park estimate, too. 11,000.
It doesn’t matter, though, really. It could be 72 million, and it wouldn’t matter.

vFox News was among the first news outlets to call some of the contested states like Arizona for Biden, even when more liberal outlets like CNN and MSNBC were unwilling to do so. The first I heard of Trump supporters chanting FOX NEWS SUCKS was outside of one of the state govt buildings in Arizona where votes were being counted. They were also chanting STOP THE COUNT, which, of course, was misguided since their candidate was behind and therefore the only chance he had was to continue the count.
