Strong words from Coach Cowher on CBS’ NFL postgame show: “Boy, I don’t think we’ve seen anybody dominate Denver like St. Louis did today.”

And right on cue, Alec Ogletree breaks up Manning’s fourth down pass. He’s right there with McDonald.

Rams get the stop, take over with 2:27 to go. Denver out of timeouts. Lots of orange-clad fans heading for the exits.

Unofficial pressbox stats have Rams down for 12 pass breakups today. That includes batted passes as well as downfield throws. Twelve.

Thoroughly dominant and impressive showing by Rams defense. Offense makes no costly mistakes, ST’s excels. That’s formula for this team.

Three wins against 2013 conference finalists.

Talk about making a team one-dimensional, Denver finished game with 27 consecutive called pass plays.

Denver’s 7 points is the fewest Broncos have scored since Manning took over.

Rams … only the 3rd team this year to top 100 yards rushing vs. Denver in game.

That was about as much fun as my son and I have had at a #Rams game since the GSOT

    Jim Fadler @jimiramsboy ·
I thought a hidden sequence for a #Rams victory was when they gouged out two 1st downs in the 3rd…then flipped the field

    Jim Fadler @jimiramsboy
And on the sunny aide GW showed some insight and creativity…blitzed seldom in 1st half and then out of 34 look in the 2nd #GoRams

Wow. And, gave Arizona everything could handle until the late offensive meltdown.

QB Shaun Hill was recipient of one of the game balls afterward. Fisher pleased with how Hill took care of ball and made needed plays.

Fisher said Rams had three busted coverages, area they need to fix but only got beat on one of them. (The touchdown).

Back from locker room, Rams coach Jeff Fisher says today was “as good a game as we can play.” Cited all three phases.

“That’s a good football team. This is the @NFL . They played better than us today.” – Coach Fox http://pbs.twimg.com/media/B2l6ZkcCAAA3YQ4.jpg

Despite penalty against McLeod, multiple Rams made mention of how important it was to be physical with Denver receivers. Set a tone.

On coverage mixup that led to lone Broncos touchdown, it was supposed to be Jenkins responsible for staying on top of the coverage.

Fisher didn’t mention any injuries of note. We’ll see where they are in that regard later this week.

LB James Laurinaitis said DC Gregg Williams had “perfect” game plan for today. Will expound in my column a bit later.

Rams have allowed a total of 56 rushing yards in the past two weeks. I’m told that’s the best two-week stretch in franchise history.

Rams held Manning to 6th-lowest points per drive (0.58) game of his career. That’s 273 starts. 7 points on 12 drives.
